Now I’d like to talk about a time when I was really proud of a family member of mine. It was when my mother beat cancer after a long time fighting it and became healthy again.
Let me remember, it was 3 years ago when she received the news that there was something strange in her right breast. Specifically, she went to the hospital to have a yearly health check and this piece of news terrified her.
Initially, it was not easy for her, but she finally accepted for the doctor to remove it. It was actually a small tumor that had developed within a year or less, so she had to take quick actions to prevent further issues.
Well, I am proud of her for many reasons. First of all, she was so brave to hear the bad news about her health. Usually, when someone hears something like that, they will cry and hide it away, but she didn’t. Also, she was really positive and patient to accept the fact that she had to go through some painful steps of the whole process of treatment. Whenever I took her to the hospital, she didn’t complain one bit. After surgery and some more appointments with her doctor for some follow-up care sessions, she was finally cancer-free.

Now I’d like to talk about a time when I was really proud of a family member of mine. It was when my mother beat cancer after a long time battling it and became cancer-free.
If my memory serves me right, it was 3 years ago when she received the news that there was something strange in her right breast. Specifically, she went to the hospital to have a yearly health check and this piece of news terrified her.
Initially, it was not easy for her, but she finally decided to have it removed only a month later. It was actually a small tumor that was estimated to have been developed within a year or less, so she had to take quick actions to prevent further issues.
Well, there’s every reason to be proud of her. First of all, not everyone could be as brave as she was. She faced such a curveball in life head-on instead of hiding from it. Also, she was really positive and tolerant to accept the fact that she had to undergo some painful steps of the whole process of treatment. Whenever I took her to the hospital, she didn’t whine one bit. After surgery and some more appointments with her doctor for some follow-up care sessions, she was finally free of cancer.

Now I’d like to talk about a time when I was really proud of a family member of mine. It was when my mother beat cancer after a long time battling it and became cancer-free.
To the best of my recollection, it dated back to 3 years ago when she received the news that she had been carrying a lump in her right breast. Specifically, she went to the hospital to have a yearly general health examination and this piece of news just shook her to the core.
To talk about what she did, it was not easy for her, but she finally decided to have it removed only a month later. It was actually a small malignant tumor that was speculated to have been developed within a year or less, so she had to take quick actions to prevent further complications.
Well, when it comes to the justifications for my pride in her, for starters, what she did was very formidable. As you can imagine, having a fatal bomb inside your body, waiting to explode and kill you, will render you or anyone else petrified. However, she was brave enough to take on such a trying time in life head-on instead of hiding from it. Also, she was really positive and resilient to embrace the fact that she had to undergo some painful steps of the whole process of treatment. Whenever I took her to the hospital, she didn’t whine one bit. After surgery and some post-treatment surveillance sessions, she came out of the hospital declaring that she was finally free of cancer.
I guess from that incident, I will always be reminded of what an incredible hero she is.
